Follow Friday #4

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.

Q. Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from?

A. Okay, this is actually a hard one to answer. I have a lot of favorite authors, so its hard to pick just three.  Three that I would love to meet and have a conversation with though are Faith Hunter, Jess Haines,  and Carrie Vaughn.  All three of these women seem like they would be easy to talk with, and they also come across as having a sense of humor.  I think that would make it fun to sit down and talk with them.

But really, if I had the opportunity to sit down and talk with any of my faves, I wouldn't pass it up!

Happy Friday everyone!!!

  2. There are so many good authors out there to choose from. Its nice to highlight some that others may not have come across yet.

No, the dogs in the header aren't mine; they are owned by a photographer facebook friend. I'd like to take that kind of picture with my two dachshunds though. If you'd like to see pictures of them, please check out the "My Pups" tab.

    Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Faith Hunter writes the Jane Yellowrock series. She's a really kick butt kind of heroine, and she's also a skinwalker. There's really interesting mythology in the series. The first book is titled Skinwalker. I happened to see it at the bookstore and the cover caught my eye.

Jess Haines writes the H&W Investigations series. The first book in the series is Hunted by the Others. I just happened to come across them one day because the first book was free for Kindle. Really good series so far.

Carrie Vaughn writes a series about a werewolf named Kitty. The first one is Kitty and the Midnight Hour. Its been nice to see Kitty grow as the series has progressed.

  14. Thank you, but no, those aren't my two dogs. I do have two dachshunds though, and you can find their pictures under the "my pups" tab. I do plan on taking their picture to use as a header one day, but they are not as well behaved as Sadie and Fynn are.

  17. Thank you so much! It was hard coming up with a name. There are already so many good ones taken, and I'm not very creative as it is lol. I used to have a lab and a poodle. I love big dogs! I want another golden retriever one day.

    Thanks for stopping by!
