Friday Hops!

Book Blogger Hop
Q. What is your favorite Halloween costume?
Even if you don't celebrate, what kinds of costumes do you like?

A. Hmmmm....vampires and witches have always been my standard for Halloween costumes lol. Yeah, I know, everyone does it.  I'm not very creative though, so that's what I get stuck with.  I was a dinosaur once as a little kid, and that was cute.

This year, back to the standard.  I still haven't bought anything for my party on Saturday, so I'm going to be a Twilight vampire! No special outfit required, no nasty plastic fangs to wear, and I"ll put some sparkly makeup on - just in case I go out in the sun. ;)

Spooktacular Reads: Which books do you consider festive Halloween reads?
Which stories have chilled you to the bone?

I don't usually read really spooky or scary books. I have read some Stephen King and Dean Koontz, but that's about it. So, the book that scared me and I never even finished it? The Regulators by Richard Bachman (aka Stephen King.) That book FREAKED me out and I had to put it away! I think I eventually gave it to a friend of mine lol.

Also, don't forget to check out the Spooktacular Giveaway Hop! There's still a few days to enter. You can find it HERE.

  1. I used to go as witches and vampires a lot when I was a kid too!

  2. Witches were a popular choice when growing up also, happy Friday!

  3. Haha I guess Twilight makes it easy to be a vampire. I've only ever done scary ones.

  4. Ha! Twilight vampire, good idea! Don't think anyone would be one of them since the scary ones are more popular!

    Here's my Friday Hops

    Have a GREAT weekend!

  5. I usually fall batch on witches and vampires too. I don't like the little kid plastic fangs. But, a few years back I found cap fangs. They fit right on my incisors. I love them!

  6. Haha, I love that sparkle comment! That could be fun... and dangerous. I mean, you would be blinding *lol* Are you picking a specific character from Twilight or just a random vampire? That's a pretty good idea, either way, considering...
