The Sixth Day of Christmas with Julie Kagawa

A special thanks to Julie Kagawa, author of the Iron Fae series, for stopping by for a quick interview!

Hot Cocoa or Apple Cider?
Hot Cocoa

Favorite holiday movie?
A Christmas Carol.

Favorite holiday song?
Silver Bells.

Are there any plans for more books involving the Iron Fae world?
Yes, actually!  There is a second Iron Fey series coming next year starring Ethan Chase, Meghan's younger brother, when he is a bit older.  And I'm sure lots of familiar faces will pop in for cameos.

Which was your favorite book to write?
I think The Iron Queen was my favorite, just because this was the book that everything came together: the final battle, the last fight.  Everything comes down to this, and everything that had been leading up to it was resolved.  Except Meghan and Ash, of course, but that's where The Iron Knight comes in. ;)

Any special plans for the holidays this year?
This year everyone is coming to my house for the first time, bringing new babies and husbands and such, so it should be very interesting. :)

Any New Year’s resolutions?
Eat better, write more, become Kung Fu master. :D

  1. I didn't really have a chance to read The Fey Series, heard many good things about it. Great interview.
